Utility Dogs

Utility dogs are one of the most diverse groups.  There are so many different breeds with different characters it is impossible to give the group an overall temperament guide therefore they need to be looked at individually.  Most of the breeds in this group were originally bred for a certain job, i.e. running alongside carriages, dog fighting, guarding cattle and working on farms.  A lot of these jobs no longer exist now a days and they are now mainly bred for companion dogs.
