Dog Training Suffolk
Have Happy Dog Days With a Well Mannered, Stimulated and Content Dog.
Importance Dog Training:
Dogs/puppies need exercise (puppies limited exercise) and mental stimulation this is why they enjoy training. It also strengthens the bond between you and your dog. Lack of dog training (exercise and mental stimulation) can cause boredom and this is most often when bad habits start to form.
Training Aims :
Our aim is to help pet dog owners have a well mannered family pet and to prevent or eradicate unwanted behaviour around the home and out in public. You can achieve this by teaching your dog obedience and Happy Dog Days will help you do this. A trained dog results in a happy dog and a happy owner and both you and your dog will have a happy life together.
Our training technique is repetition, consistency and reward based using verbal praise, food or your dog's favourite toy. There is no rough handling or angry shouting. Whether the training provided is done on a one to one basis or in group classes the atmosphere will be friendly and informal. Happy Dog Days [based in Stowmarket Suffolk] will help you understand what your dog needs from you when training. This includes learning and managing both your's and your dog's body language, giving your dog rules, importance of consistency. All of this can be done as long as you are able to put in the valuable time and effort required to achieve the desired results.
Importance Of Practice:
Coming to classes or any of the one to ones sessions you will receive all the practical, physical and verbal advice you need for achieving the training. Unless you put the time and effort in at home every day and practice the various commands it will take longer to achieve the results you want and go further with the training from week to week.
Puppies Early Days!
An adult dogs' character and behaviour is influenced by the way it is trained and the experiences it is exposed to from an early age. This is why it is so important to get training right from the beginning.
Once your puppy becomes of the age to be collected and taken home it is imperative that you continue the role of the mother dog by teaching the puppy rules and boundaries straight away. You should have a training plan ready before you bring your puppy home and implement it straight away.
Take a look at our 'Be Prepared Home Visit package' as this service will help you with your puppy training plan. It is full of practical advice on a vast range of topics, some you might not have even thought of or unsure how to go about implementing the puppy training.
Soon after your puppy has had its second vaccination you can attend Happy Dog Days Puppy Classes or One to Ones. This is where your puppy will continue to learn social skills and puppy obedience. Take a look at our Puppy Classes or One to Ones for full details.
